In the 2019 Defender Cup, the National Guard team of Ukraine won
On the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Fourth Defender's Cup mini-football charity match took place at the Heroes of Kruty Military Institute.
The main purpose of the charity tournament was the implementation of social initiatives aimed at the rehabilitation of servicemen who protect the integrity of Ukraine in the war zone in the east of our state.

The football tournament was organized by the Ukrainian Football Association, the Ukrainian Premier League, the Heroes of Kruty Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization and the News Center news agency.
The fourth Defender's Cup charity tournament was attended by the teams of the Heroes of Kruty Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Patrol Police Department and the team of journalists of Ukraine.

Before the start of the games, the first vice-president of UAF Oleh Protasov addressed the teams with a welcoming speech: “I congratulate the participants of the tournament on the holiday, the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And also with today's football holiday. This year we have football successes. We became world champions, we also beat Portugal and reached Euro 2020. More victories await Ukraine. There is one more cup left this year that we have to play today. That's why I wish all the teams to enjoy football. "
According to the results of the draw in the first game, the teams of the Patrol Police and the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization named after the Heroes of Kruty met. The game time ended with a score of 2: 2, the strongest was a series of penalties, where luck smiled on the team of the Patrol Police - 3: 2.

In the second game, the team of journalists of Ukraine and the team of the National Guard of Ukraine competed. The game was even, the teams took turns exchanging goals, but in the last minutes of the match the officers did not leave a chance for the team of journalists to get to the final of the tournament - 3: 2.
The bronze medal match was held before the finals. The team of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics named after Kruty defeated the team of journalists with a score of 2: 1.

In the finals of the competition, the National Guard team defeated the Patrol Police Department team 3-2 and won the Defender's Cup.
All participants received diplomas, thanks, footballs from the organizers and sponsors of the tournament.
