UAF representatives tell the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine about the activity of the plant "FFU Production" and the benefits of artificial coverage of its own production

Today, on December 11, the second meeting of the Interim Commission of Inquiry of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the investigation of possible violations of the law was held by the leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association.

In addition to the members of the TSC, the meeting was also attended by UAF representatives, in particular, the Association's Vice-President Taras Gerula, Deputy General Secretary Andriy Bondarenko, attorneys Vladimir Tymoshenko and Andriy Romanchuk.

As part of the consideration of the first issue of the agenda, the Chairman of the TSC Anatoliy Kostyuk informed the audience about the new appeals received by the commission the day before by various public organizations. According to him, the information given in these addresses does not directly relate to the topic of the TSC research, but also worth consideration and consideration as it relates to the activities of the former leadership of the Football Federation of Ukraine. In particular, such appeals were related to the project of building a national team base in the village of Gorenichi, near Kiev.

In general, the second meeting of the TSC demonstrated that the commission members had a lack of comprehensive information on the role of the Ukrainian Football Association and its subsidiary FFU Production in the implementation of the state program for the construction of football fields and grounds, which was implemented during 2017-2018 years and which is now one of the subjects of the TSC study. This gap was filled with information provided during the meeting by UAF representatives.

In particular, UAF Vice President Taras Herula informed the members of the commission of the full chronology of the initiative to restore and develop the football infrastructure in Ukraine, with which 2015 Andriy Pavelko, President of the Association, spoke at the FFU Congress. playgrounds.

"In the strategy of football development, designed for 2030 developed by UAF together with the world-famous company Ernst & Young, one of the key areas was the development of football infrastructure, - said Taras Gerula. - The launch of the state target program, in our opinion, should give a serious impetus to the implementation of these plans. And so it happened. IN 2017him and me 2018 years, more than UAH 500 million was allocated for this program. The same amount was to be allocated from local budgets. That is, half of the cost was paid by the state, half - by local communities. For our part, we actively promoted this program, encouraged local leaders to join and support it, because it was about the healthy development of children and youth from all regions. And those who heard us, allocated co-financing from the local budget, went through the relevant procedures, now have modern sports grounds and stadiums. We in the association with the help of regional associations monitor the construction of football infrastructure from various sources of funding. Yes, only in 2018 more than 500 sites and 20 full-size fields were built and put into operation in XNUMX. Isn't this an indicator of the effectiveness of the state program? ”

For his part, Deputy Secretary General of the UAF and Director of FFU Production Andriy Bondarenko dispelled a number of myths that have been spread in the media over the past two years about the FFU Production plant and the construction of football fields: “I would like to take this opportunity to refute some used by our opponents. First, no budget funds were used for the construction of the plant and the purchase of equipment. Not a penny! Funding came from the Ukrainian Football Association (then the Football Federation of Ukraine).

Secondly, not all the funds allocated from the budget for the implementation of the field construction program (it is more than a billion hryvnias) went to the purchase of products manufactured by the FFU Production plant. Our company is related only to the construction of 66 sites in Kyiv, which were handed over to 2018 year. In total, it is a little over 80 million UAH.

Third, we are accused that in Kiev, the company "FFU Production" has not completed any sites. I emphasize once again - from the time of its creation to the present day, FFU Production as a contractor has built only 66 sites. They were all built in 2018 year in time and qualitatively and put into operation. This can be verified by visiting each of these objects. Children train in these fields.

And one more myth: in tender conditions there was no requirement to buy a covering for platforms of production of our factory. We are the same market participants as other companies. But we are the only ones in this market whose production facilities are located in Ukraine. We give a guarantee on our certified products. FFU Production has already produced more than 300 square meters of flooring, which meets the highest requirements.

FFU Production products are guaranteed for eight years! Which foreign manufacturer of artificial grass will give you such a warranty period? In addition, I would like to note that the FFU Production plant is fully owned by the Ukrainian Football Association. All 100% shares. Not an offshore company, not an individual, but the Ukrainian Football Association. Or, to put it more clearly, to everyone who has anything to do with football in our country. "

The main myth about UAF President Andriy Pavelko was dispelled at the meeting by lawyer Volodymyr Tymoshenko, who informed the audience that he had received an answer to an official lawyer's request to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine: criminal proceedings involving criminal prosecution of Andriy Vasyliovych suspect, not established.

During the meeting, UAF representatives handed over to TSK a lot of documents related to the activities of FFU Production, and invited members of the commission at any time convenient for them to visit and get acquainted with the production process at the plant for the manufacture of artificial turf. The UAF representatives also agreed to provide all available documents of interest to the TSC. All data and documents already received from the Ukrainian Football Association by a unanimous decision of the TSC were attached to the materials of the commission. "The Ukrainian Football Association has been, is and will be absolutely open to the public and all regulatory bodies. We are interested in a comprehensive and objective investigation that will establish the truth, "Volodymyr Tymoshenko stressed.
