Introducing the cyberfootball team of Ukraine: Igor ighor_8 Lyubchak

As part of the presentation of Ukraine's first ever cyber football team, we present a reserve player for the national team, Igor Lyubchak. 

After the final of the national selection, which took place on November 30 in the House of Football, the first ever Ukrainian cyber football team was formed. It consists of two main and two reserve players. The team will compete for the right to represent our country at the European Championship in the discipline KONAMI'seFootballPES 2020. We have already represented the first of the reservists - Maxim Andrasyuk. Today we offer you an interview with another - 23-year-old Igor Lyubchak.    

- Igor, are you interested in real football?

- I am interested, I support Ukrainian clubs and I support Barcelona. Favorite player - Andres Iniesta, who plays at number eight. That's why I decided to add an eight to the name of my name - ighor_8.

- How long have you been playing PES?

- It all started in 2010, when a laptop first appeared, on which I could run some games. Since I was very interested in football before, there was no special choice. I chose a football simulator. On the advice of friends - it is PES. This is how my first acquaintance with the 2011 PES series took place. At a more serious level, I moved to PES 2016, where I had the opportunity to play online with other players around the world.

- Did you take part in tournaments? Do you have any achievements?

- I participated in the official offline tournament from KONAMI, PESleague, in Barcelona and Berlin and many other amateur online tournaments. Among the sporting achievements we can highlight the qualification for the offline tournament PESleague in co-op mode in PES 2018, the second place in the ranking of 1x1 ROW steam (Rest of World) PES 2019 qualification for the tournament PESLeague.

- What, in your opinion, are the prospects for cyber football in Ukraine?

- Prospects for development in Ukraine will appear when football clubs join it. As an option - participation in a cyber football tournament from KONAMI eFootball.Pro, which currently plays 10 football clubs in Europe.
Today I am glad that the Ukrainian Football Association is not indifferent to this direction.

- What are the chances of the Ukrainian national team to get to eEURO-2020?

- We have to start from the first place. But everything will depend on the draw. I would single out three cyber football teams that I would not like to join. These are France, Italy and Spain. The players of these teams are extremely high.
