UAF Women's Soccer Committee sums up 2019 and discusses plans for 2020

The final meeting of the UAF Women's Football Committee in 2019 took place in the Football House.

The first question agenda was the summary of the All-Ukrainian competition for girls and women's football in 2019. In total, 14 national competitions and two girls' soccer festivals were held.

The members of the committee listened to the coaches of the national women's national teams of Ukraine and got acquainted with the plans of the national teams in 2020.

Natalia Zinchenko (national team), Valery Palamarchuk (WU-19 team), Serhiy Sapronov (WU-17 team), Olena Kudzieva (WU-15 team), Oleksandr Mytko (national team goalkeeping coach) reported on the performances, achievements and problems of their teams in 2019 and announced plans and wishes for the coming year. The committee also instructed the women's football department to study the creation of youth women's national teams WU-21 and WU-23 on a regular basis.

During the meeting, the implementation of the Unified Calendar of Women's Football for 2020 was considered.

Having considered the place of the final match of Ukrainian Cup-2019/2020, members of the committee supported the proposal of the Kharkiv Regional Football Association (HOAF). Thus, the final of the tournament will take place on May 23, 2020 in Kharkiv, at the "Sunny" stadium. USC Metalist has been designated as the reserve stadium for the final match.

Supporting the proposal of the Chernihiv Regional Football Federation, the committee approved the venue for the winter competitions. Annual football competitions among women's teams "Winter Championship" in 2020, they will take place on February 17-21 in Chernihiv, at the renovated Yunost Sports School.

Also, from 2020, as part of the Girls 'Football League (DFL) competitions, for the first time in history, the championships among the girls' teams WU-15 and WU-13 will be held with trips according to the "spring-autumn" system. At the first stage, the teams will play in groups formed on a territorial basis, and later the best teams in the final part will play for the title of champions of Ukraine.
