In January 2020, exactly one year will be fulfilled as a midfielder of the national team of Ukraine Roman Bezus made his Belgian transition from "Saint-Truiden" to "Ghent".

And if the second half of the 2018-2019 season became for the Ukrainian a kind of adaptation to the new command conditions, then for the first part of the 2019/2020 season we can already draw some conclusions.

First, Roman became a full player in the main team. Secondly, it seems that the presence in Ghent of two partners in the national team, Roman Yaremchuk and Ihor Plastun, significantly reduced the integration period for Bezus.

Of the 20 meetings that the midfielder played during this period as part of the team, nine times our midfielder appeared in the starting lineup. And if you look at the statistics of the player, we can say that in almost half of the matches Bezus recorded at his own expense or scored a goal, or a pass.

And another interesting detail. Bezus performed all his productive actions in the fights when he appeared on the field from the first minutes.

The new year, 2020, "Ghent" will begin on January 18, when in the 22nd round of the Belgian championship will host "Mouscron".
