2020: what awaits Ukraine's beach soccer team in the new year

In 2020, the Beach Soccer Team of Ukraine will participate in three top level representative tournaments. 

The head coach of the Ukrainian beach soccer team Yevhen Varenytsia announced the team's plans for this year. 

According to him, the first competitions are waiting for the blue-yellows on May 2-9. The Ukrainian team will compete in the qualifying tournament of the European zone for a ticket to the ΙΙ World Beach Games, which will be held in 2021. The venue of the selection, as well as the Games themselves, will be determined later.  

The second in chronological test for the national team of Ukraine will be the selection for the Super Final of the Euroleague 2020. This season, the qualifying format returns to last year's formula. Instead of three qualifying rounds, Euroleague participants will again have five. The blue and yellows will take part in two. On June 19-21 in Naples, the Ukrainians will start fighting for a place in the Super Final in the second stage of selection, and on July 3-5 they will continue in the third (its venue will be determined later). 

The third important tournament for Yevhen Varenytsia's wards will be the qualifying round of the 2021 World Cup. In Europe, these competitions will be held on July 23-31 in the Italian town of Jesolo, near Venice.  

Finally, the national team of Ukraine hopes to take part in the Euroleague Super Final. As last year, it will take place on September 3-6 in the Portuguese city of Figueira da Foz.  

In preparation for all this year's competitions, our team plans to hold a training meeting. Their exact schedule will be agreed later.
