2020: schedule of the national women's national team of Ukraine in the new year

This year, the women's national team of Ukraine has a busy schedule - six meetings are planned.

For the first time, the best football players of the country will gather together in early spring. A training camp will be held from March 2 to 12, during which the team will take part in the international Pinatar Cup tournament. These competitions with the participation of six women's national teams will be held for the second time in Spain. Blue and yellow are guaranteed three meetings with national teams of other countries.

Next for Natalia Zinchenko's wards is the time of official duels. IN Euro-2021 qualifying tournament The Ukrainians suffered three defeats in three matches last year, but the chances of success in the selection remain. After all, two meetings with the Germans are behind us, and an away match has already been played with Ireland. So, from April 6 to 15, the second NTZ in 2020 will take place, during which two matches will take place in the selection for the European Championship: on the 10th - away with Montenegro and on the 14th - home with Greece.

The fight for the blue-yellow qualifiers will continue in June. The gathering of the team will last from the 1st to the 10th, and the matches will be played on the 5th and 9th - home with Ireland and away with Greece, respectively.

The last match of the group tournament of the Ukrainian will be held on September 22 at home against Montenegro. The collection will last from September 14 to 23.

It will be recalled that in the final stage of the Euro, which will take place in England next summer, in addition to the hosts, the winners of nine qualifying groups and the top three runners-up (based on matches with first, third, fourth and fifth teams) will take part. Three more participants will be determined by the results of the playoffs between the six other teams that finish second.

Therefore, during the fifth training camp this year, which will take place from October 19 to 28, the national team of Ukraine may participate in the playoffs, otherwise the team will play a control match.

Finally, from November 23 to December 1, the women's team will hold the last NTZ with a trip to Turkey, where a friendly match is also planned.

We will add that the goalkeepers of the national team, as well as the goalkeepers of all other domestic women's national teams, will hold two training camps, one of which will be held from February 1 to 7, and the second - from June 24 to 30.
