Ukraine's women's futsal team became a finalist of Lviv Freedom Cup
In the second game of the group stage of the Lviv tournament, Oleg Shaitanov's team beat Finland.
After victory over Hungary the blue-and-yellows had a day off, while their rivals in the group held a face-to-face meeting yesterday, which ended in a draw. So today, for the final first place, it was enough for the Ukrainians not to lose to Finland.
In the first half, the Finns went ahead twice, but Ksenia Hrytsenko played behind. In the second half of the match, the representative of "Budstar-NPU" scored her third goal and brought the host forward. Subsequently, the Finns did not take a double penalty, and at the end of the match the blue and yellows increased their advantage. Gritsenko made poker, and Anna Shulga set the final score.
Having won two victories, Oleg Shaitanov's wards took the first place in the group. Now our team will face Italy in the final match, which will take place tomorrow (starting at 16.45).
