Futsal Ukraine's women's national team lost to Italy in Lviv Freedom Cup final
Oleh Shaitanov's team won second place in the home tournament, losing to the Italian team in the final match.
Having beaten Hungary (5:1) and Finland (5:2), the Ukrainians became the first in the group and reached the finals. There our team was opposed by Italy, which was no less confident in their trio.
In the 5th minute of the meeting Ksenia Hrytsenko brought the blue and yellows ahead, but before the break Sara Butima's double gave the Italians an advantage. In the second half of the match, the rivals increased the gap, and our team only managed to reduce the gap thanks to an accurate shot by Anna Shulga. In the end - 2: 4.
Thus, the Italians took first place in the Lviv Freedom Cup, the Ukrainians became second.
