Andriy Pavelko inspects reconstruction of the Kolos stadium
Last Sunday, the president of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Pavelko, paid a working visit to the village of Kovalivka in the Kyiv region.
There is now a large-scale reconstruction of the stadium "Kolos", which is home to FC "Kolos" (Kovalivka) - the debutant of the Premier League season 2019/2020.
The president of FC Kolos Andriy Zasukha, who was recently elected chairman of the Kyiv Regional Football Association on January 18, acquainted the head of the UAF with the progress of work at the stadium. The head of the COAF told Andriy Pavelko about the main stages of the arena reconstruction and shared his plans for the development of football in Kyiv region.

According to the president of UAF, the completion of construction works on the home arena of FC Kolos will be a great gift for local football fans and an important contribution to the development of football infrastructure in the region.

"Soon the club, which only made its Premier League debut last year and is now playing its home matches at Obolon Arena, will play at its home stadium with covered stands with a capacity of almost 5 seats," said Andriy Pavelko. The head of the UAF also said that the arena will not only be equipped with field heating and a modern drainage system, but will also meet all the necessary conditions of the UPL, as well as technical requirements for the use of the VAR system and the organization of televised matches.

"Kolos Stadium will be able to host matches of youth and youth national teams of Ukraine and, without a doubt, will become one of the centers of development of both children's and youth and amateur and professional football of the entire Kyiv region," Andriy Pavelko is convinced.
