Euro 2020. Ukrainian national team will try to prevent the coach of the Netherlands team to repeat the record of the legendary German

We continue to introduce you to interesting facts from the history of the final European Championship tournaments directly apply future rivals of the national team of Ukraine on UEFA EURO 2020.

The current coach of the Netherlands, who is one of the opponents of our team at Euro 2020, Ronald Koeman, can only be the second person in history to win the European Championship as a player and coach.

So far, the only such achievement belongs to the legendary defender of the German national team (Euro-1972) and the leader of the German national team (Euro-1992) Bertie Vogts.

Kuman won the Euro as a football player in 1988.

We will add that just like Ronald, the head coach of the French national team Didier Deschamps, who triumphed as a player at the continental championship in 2020, can achieve the same at Euro 2000.  

It will be recalled that at Euro 2020 the national team of the Netherlands will be the first rival of our national team, which will solve its tasks and, among other things, will try to prevent Kuman from repeating the Vogts record. The match will take place on June 14 in Amsterdam at the stadium Johan Cruyff Arena.
