A working meeting on the development of women's football in Ukraine was held

On February 7, a meeting of the working group with representatives of the UPL and PFL was held at the Football House to implement the decision of the UAF Executive Committee of December 28, 2019 at the initiative of the President of the Ukrainian Football Association, UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelko. / girls' teams or the presence of such teams in the structure of professional clubs.

At the meeting chaired by the First Vice-President of the Ukrainian Football Association Oleg Protasov, the participants discussed the comparative characteristics of the number of women's teams created at professional football clubs in Europe, the world practice of functioning of women's teams at clubs, as well as the positive consequences of creating the above-mentioned teams in Ukraine.

During the meeting it was decided to study and analyze in detail the experience of the leading European countries and championships, which also aim to create women's teams in the structure of professional clubs in the near future.

At the next meeting of the working group, a roadmap for the implementation of this program will be presented and discussed over the next four years.
