The Premier League. Today with the use of VAR system the championship of Ukraine of the season-2019/2020 is renewed
Today, February 22, the 19th round of the Premier League, which is the first after the winter break, will start with matches in Mariupol and Kyiv.
The program of the 19th round of the UPL opens with matches between Mariupol - Zorya and Dynamo - Vorskla. For the first time in the history of Ukrainian football at the match in Kyiv with the participation of Dynamo and Vorskla the VAR system will be applied.
In total, the participants have to play in four rounds of the first stage, as a result of which the teams will be divided into two sixes. The teams that take 1st to 6th places will play in the championship, medals and tickets to the European Cups in another two-round tournament. Clubs that finish in the first stage on the 7th to 12th places will play each other in 10 rounds for the right to avoid relegation and for the chance to compete for the last European Cup license in the additional playoffs.
