U-21 Championship renewed: Vorskla, Shakhtar and Dynamo have worked productively in Turkey

Today the Ukrainian championship is resumed with a match between Mariupol and Zorya (U-21). Other matches of the 19th round will take place tomorrow. At the top of the table is still Vorskla, although at the end of the first part of the tournament both its pursuers, Dynamo and Shakhtar, managed to reduce the gap to one point.

Not surprisingly, this trio worked hardest in the off-season, allocating funds for full-fledged training camps abroad. All teams were preparing in Turkey, how fruitful - of course, will show only official matches. Although even after sparring, the coaches almost certainly got enough information.

Vorskla played a friendly match against the strong first-league Pitman Sport at home to warm up, lost (1: 2) and went to Turkey after the first team. There she held as many as seven sparring matches with varying degrees of success. Initially losing (2: 3 - to the Polish "Craiova", with the same score - the Nigerian club "Goddoski" and 0: 2 - to the Serbian "Cable"), in the final four matches did not concede: two zero draws - with the Slovenian Koper "And Serbian" Brodarac ", two victories - over" B-93 "from Denmark (3: 2) and Romanian" Uta "(4: 2).

It should be noted that the best scorer of the team was Oleg Liga - four goals, three more - on account of Radio Posevkin. Both are well-known goal scorers from Poltava. We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that one of Vorskla's goalkeepers, Pavlo Isenko, was called up by Oleksandr Petrakov to the U-17 national team of Ukraine and took part in sparring matches with the teams of England and Belgium.

It is interesting that the first rival of Poltava in the second part of the U-21 championship will be Dynamo, which also divided the training into two stages. As part of the home game, Kyiv played three control matches: they lost to second-division Dinaz (2: 3), defeated student Mercury (6: 2) and drew zero with Volyn.

In Turkey, Dynamo also managed to win only once - in the Latvian "Valmiera" (4: 1). Kyiv lost twice - to Brazilian "Gremio Novorizontino" (0: 3) and the Romanian team of the third league "University of Craiova 1948" (1: 2).

Yegor Glushach became the best scorer of the white and blues during the off-season, however, he scored all three goals for the students from Mercury. It should be noted that two players of Dynamo youth, Taras Dmytruk and Artem Kulakovsky, moved to Vorskla this winter, while the leader and best scorer of the team Denis Yanakov is in the position of Chornomorets.

Shakhtar U-21 also has staff losses. Stanislav Biblyk, a young striker, moved in the usual Mariupol direction (he passed all the matches with the base of Mariupol), and a little later he was joined by defender Nazariy Muravsky, who is already stubbornly called the "second Chygrynsky".

In Turkey, the miners also had several sparring matches. They started with the victory over the Hungarian "Siofok" - 3: 2 (scored by Chiruk, Kryskiv, Prykhodko), and, according to Fernando Valente, the main thing - "not the results, but bringing young people to official matches through the fight with adult opponents."

The pursuers of the leaders also played a lot. For example, "Alexandria" hosted sparring partners at home and visited them. In one of these matches the other day the double "Dnipro-1" was defeated - 6: 1. Oleksandr Lomko's boys also played a lot with the teams of the first and second leagues.

Zorya did not look for sparring partners, but simply applied for the Unity Cup tournament, where they performed quite decently, leaving the group until the next round. Dnipro-1 youth team also got 4: 1 from Luhansk. Dnipro played a lot, mostly conceded, however, at the end of the meeting they played and won a strong first-league "Avangard" - 3: 1. Another newcomer to the championship, Kolos, performed at the Makarov Memorial - not very well, at least he did not leave the group, taking the penultimate place.
