Andriy Shevchenko announced the composition of the national team of Ukraine for friendly matches with the teams of France and Poland

Head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko has announced the list of 24 players he calls to prepare for and participate in friendly matches with the national teams of France (March 27, Saint-Denis) and Poland (March 31, Chorzow).

The blue-and-yellow steering wheel has traditionally defined the reserve of the main team, which this year included seven players.

The composition of the national team

Goalkeepers: Andriy Pyatov (Shakhtar Donetsk), Andriy Lunin (Oviedo, Spain), Yuri Pankov (Alexandria).

Defenders: Mykola Matvienko, Sergey Krivtsov, Sergey Bolbat (all - Shakhtar Donetsk), Igor Plastun (Gent, Belgium), Artem Shabanov, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Alexander Karavaev (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Eduard Sobol (Bruges) , Belgium).

Noteworthy is the appearance in the main list of midfielder Ferencvaros, Igor Kharatin, who was first invited to the ranks of the country's main team.

The backup list includes: Sergiy Sidorchuk, Vitaliy Buyalsky (both Dynamo Kyiv), Yevhen Shakhov (Lecce, Italy), Roman Yaremchuk, Roman Bezus (both Gent, Belgium), Vladislav Supryaga (Dnipro-1), Alexander Zubkov (Ferencvaros, Hungary).

The head coach does not rule out that one of the players can be called or transferred from the reserve list to the main one. Note that among the reservists is one of the main scorers of the team Roman Yaremchuk, who is recovering from injury.

Blue and yellow will gather on March 23 in Kiev, where their residence will traditionally become the Opera Hotel. After three training days in the Ukrainian capital, the national team will set off for Paris, where it will depart on March 25 at noon.
