A meeting of the UAF Women's Football Committee was held at the House of Football

On the eve of the meeting of the UAF Executive Committee in the House of Football a working meeting of the Women's Football Committee was held.

The meeting was attended by representatives of women's major league football clubs. They were invited to a meeting with a view to comprehensively considering issues related to the organization of the work on the development of the regulations and the calendar of competitions for the next season.

The meeting adopted a number of important decisions, namely: the venues of the preliminary and final stages of the Ukrainian girls 'championship WU-17 of the 2020 season and the All-Ukrainian festival among girls' teams WU-11, as well as the venue of home qualifying matches of the European Championship. 2021 the national women's national team of Ukraine with the teams of Greece and Ireland, which will take place at the stadium "Slavutych-Arena" in Zaporozhye, respectively, on April 14 and June 5.

Also, the UAF Women's Football Committee, after considering the submission of the management of women's football clubs "Mariupolchanka" (Mariupol) and "CYSS-3", approved the change of names of these clubs, respectively, ZhFK "Mariupol" (Mariupol) and ZhFK "Prykarpattya-DYUS (Ivano-Frankivsk).

Representatives of women's soccer clubs participating in the committee meeting initiated the creation of a working group on the development of the regulations and calendar of the championship of Ukraine among the teams of the major leagues of the season 2020/2021. After the discussion, the committee decided to support the proposal and to ask the leadership of the national association to create a working group that would include representatives of the committee and the major-league women's clubs.

Considering the decision of UEFA on the licensing of women's soccer clubs applying for the UEFA Champions League in the 2020/2021 season, the Committee has considered the question of the licensing process for the next clubs by national clubs.

Finally, the UAF Women's Football Committee considered and approved the draft main directions of the strategic plan for the development of women's football in Ukraine for 2020-2024, which was eventually approved by the UAF Executive Committee.
