Officially. UEFA postpones the final matches of the European Cups 2019/2020

The finals of the European Cup tournaments, scheduled for May 2020, have been officially postponed.

As reported the UEFA official website reports., due to the situation with the spread of COVID-19 virus in Europe today, the Union of European Football Associations decided to postpone the following matches, scheduled for May this year:

- UEFA Women's Champions League final;

- UEFA Europa League final;

- UEFA Champions League final.

A decision on new dates for these matches has not yet been made. A working group set up last week by video conference with European football stakeholders, chaired by UEFA President Alexander Cheferin, will analyze the options available. The group has already begun reviewing the calendar. Information about the new dates of the European Cup finals will appear later.

We will remind that in the Europa League among participants there is a representative of Ukraine - Shakhtar (Donetsk) who in the first match of 1/8 finals on departure won the German "Wolfsburg" - 2: 1.
