Ukraine cyber ​​football team settled third in the 2020 European Championship qualifying group

The PES Cyberfootball Team of Ukraine failed to make it to the final of eEuro-2020, having completed the first stage of the selection.

On March 30, Ukrainian cyberfooters played the second round of the first group stage of the European Championship 2020 qualification. In Group H, our guys met teams from Italy, Montenegro, Wales, Andorra and the Faroe Islands. 

Before yesterday's game day, the national team of Ukraine took third place in our six, one point behind Montenegro and three - behind Italy. The right to continue the selection in the second group stage gave only the second place, so the main fights were with direct competitors. The Ukrainians lost to the Italians - 2: 4, but the Montenegrins won with a score of 7: 4. There were no problems with the other three opponents at all. Our guys defeated Wales (10: 0), Andorra (10: 1) and Faroe Islands (9: 3). 

And yet it was not enough to qualify. Montenegro sensationally beat Italy (3: 1) and spotted second in one point ahead of blue and yellow in the table. 

As a result, Ukraine finished third in Group H and dropped out of the tournament. Italy have won a direct pass on eEuro-2020, and Montenegro will perform in the second stage of qualifying.

The matches of the second stage of selection will take place on May 4 and 11. The final tournament with the participation of the 16 best national teams of Europe is scheduled for July 9-10 in London.
