Serie A: still no dates on the season renewal for Ruslan Malinovskyi's team

Serie A Assembly of clubs composed with Atalanta where Ukraine midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi plays , has not made decision regarding the dates of when the XNUMX/XNUMX season should re-open, official league site reports.

However, according to information on the algorithm for a possible reduction in the salaries of Serie A players, local football authorities have not finally decided whether to finish the season interrupted by the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus.

The official declaration of intent of the assembly states that if the season is not completed, clubs will have the right to reduce the salaries of players to 1/3 (salary for four months). If the season warms up, clubs will have the right to reduce the salaries of players to 1/6 of the annual payments (salary for two months).

It should be added that this season Ruslan Malinovskyi played 31 matches in his club, scoring five goals and making three assists.

If the championship is renewed, Atalanta will focus on the fight for the fourth position, which next season will give it the opportunity to play again in the UEFA Champions League. It should also not be forgotten that Malinowski and his partners have already reached the quarterfinals of the 2019/2020 Champions League.
