On April 29, 1992, the national team of Ukraine held its first match. A friendly match against Hungary ended in defeat with a score of 1: 3. However, it was precisely from those 90 minutes of the game in Uzhhorod that the glorious story of blue-yellow began to be written from the premiere goal of Ivan Getsko has already counted 265 matches.

28 years of football history… Every page of the annals of the national team of Ukraine is full of memorable matches and important goals, stormy happiness and devastation after failures. With each game, the Ukrainian Cossacks became stronger and forced the international football community to talk about themselves more and more loudly.

The quarterfinals of the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the fantastic level of support for home Euro 2012, the exit from the playoffs to the European Championship 2016 in France, the victorious performance in the League of Nations, 2019 without a single defeat and, of course, Euro 2020, at which Ukrainians got from the first place in the group for the first time. Millions of Ukrainian football fans have something to remember and something to be proud of.

The All-Ukrainian Football Day, which is celebrated annually on April 29, reminds each fan of the path that national football has taken in the process of formation and which is moving towards future victories.

The Ukrainian Association of Football proposes to recall the most prominent players who wore blue-yellow jerseyes and to form a symbolic team of our country. All those who wish can join the selection of the 11 best by voting on UAF's official web pages in Facebook, Instagram and Telegram.

The rules are simple: every day on the UAF pages there will be lists of players by position, and you only need to vote for those whom you consider the best in your role. According to the results of the voting, we will determine the Ukrainian dream team according to the fans' version!
