UAF President held a working video conference with the heads of regional associations

Today, a working meeting was held with the use of video communication under the leadership of the president of Ukrainian Association of Football, member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andrii Pavelko, with the participation of the heads of regional football associations.

The participants of the meeting discussed a number of important issues related to the options for quarantining Ukrainian football. Representatives of the UAF and regional associations exchanged information on the current situation, the general state of affairs in the football community in the regions and the implementation of a joint social initiative aimed at supporting doctors in the fight against COVID-19 and organizing assistance to football veterans.

Andriy Pavelko thanked the heads of regional associations for active social work: “We are united by a common goal - to pass quarantine and become stronger. I am glad that the government, the Ministry of Health, the President's Office and the local authorities are well aware of the importance of football as an integral part of public life. But now the number one priority is to preserve the health of the whole of Ukraine, so together we are waiting for good news and the opportunity to revive football life in Ukraine. I am sincerely grateful to all regional associations for their active position and efforts aimed at helping doctors in the fight against the pandemic, as well as caring for our football veterans. This is an extremely important mission for all of us now. "
