Since mid-March, on the initiative of UAF President Andrii Pavelko and with the support of regional associations, as well as associate members of UAF, medical workers who are fighting the spread of COVID-XNUMX have been receiving assistance. Covid-19, and football veterans.

Zaporizhzhya Regional Football Association joined the UAF initiative and provides support to football veterans during the quarantine Zaporizhia Regional Football Association. The Presidium and the Executive Committee of the ZOAF raised the necessary funds, and the administration purchased all the necessary products for football veterans of the Zaporizhia region. Food sets together with souvenirs were handed over to nine veterans of Zaporizhzhya "Metallurg".

Association's help also was provided to the municipal service of Zaporizhzhya, namely - masks (in the amount of 800 pcs.), gloves (1000 pcs.) and disinfectant (150 l) were purchased.

In Pologi district, ECG devices, heart rate monitors, gowns, gloves, glasses, hats, medical masks, boot covers, antiseptics, etc. were purchased for medical institutions of territorial communities. In the city of Vasylivka, food kits were purchased and given to seven local football veterans.

The Odessa Regional Football Association continues its challenge "Help a friend - overcome the risk of spreading coronavirus". Representatives of OOFA visited veterans of sports in Podilsk with grocery kits, medicines and supplies.

Also, the regional association together with partners provided charity dinners for football veterans of Odessa. OOFA Executive Director Igor Pokarinin with representatives of partners in the framework of the initiative "Feed your neighbor" visited football veterans and gave them charity dinners.

Its contribution to the fight against the spread of coronavirus made and "VPK-Agro" - a club of the Second League, which recently held humanitarian actions in support of low-income families, as well as medical institutions of Novokodatskyi and Samarskyi districts of the Dnipro. VPK-Agro footballers, leaders of Group B, were also involved in the packaging and shipment of vegetable products.
