A working video conference was held with the participation of the UAF leadership and regional associations
On May 15, an online workshop was held with the participation of the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, the First Vice-President of the UAF Oleg Protasov and the heads of regional associations.
The participants of the meeting discussed a number of working issues related to the first stage of quarantine easing, probable options for resumption of competitions and the work of the football community in the regions under quarantine.

During the video conference, Andriy Pavelko, in particular, spoke about the cooperation between the UAF and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in creating a medical protocol for the resumption of football competitions. The participants of the meeting also exchanged views on possible scenarios for quarantining Ukrainian football in the event of a positive dynamics of reducing the number of patients and the adoption of relevant decisions by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In addition, the heads of regional associations spoke about the work of their organizations, providing assistance to doctors and football veterans, as well as their vision of restoring a full football life in the regions.

"It is important that, despite all the restrictions, the football community maintains a positive mood, continues to work actively and has many plans for the future. Thank you to all the regional associations for continuing to help our veterans and doctors who have been resisting the pandemic for the second month in a row. All of us, like millions of Ukrainian fans, missed football very much. As before, we maintain close communication with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the government in general and the Ministry of Health in particular and look forward to the next stage of easing the quarantine, which will resume football competitions, "said Andriy Pavelko.
