Euro 2020: Ukraine will play in Bucharest, which confirmed intention to host the tournament in 2021

At the European Championship, the national team of Ukraine will play in Bucharest, which on Tuesday confirmed its readiness to host the tournament in 2021. 

The Romanian Football Federation has sent a letter of guarantee to UEFA, confirming the readiness of the country's capital to become one of the hosts of Euro 2020 in 2021. About this reported the official website of FFR. 

"The Romanian Football Federation has provided UEFA with a letter of guarantee to confirm the possibility of holding the European Football Championship in Bucharest. Thus, Romania has officially confirmed its participation in the organization of this important sporting event, "the FFR said in a statement.

It is recalled, UEFA has postponed Euro 2020 to the summer of 2021. Therefore, the host cities had to revise the letters of guarantee confirming their intention to host the tournament.  

It will be recalled that Bucharest will host three matches of the group stage of Euro 2020, as well as one - the 1/8 finals. It is in the capital of Romania that three Group C matches will take place, in which Ukraine will play along with Austria and the Netherlands. Another team of the quartet will be determined in the butt matches of the League of Nations. Andriy Shevchenko's wards are to play two matches in Bucharest.
