Friendlies are ahead: how the Premier League teams are preparing for the championship's restart

After coming out from quarantine mode, the UPL teams passed the coronavirus tests and started a mini training camps to prepare for the resumption of the current season.

Shakhtar Donetsk players held an intensive one-and-a-half-hour session on May 19. After the warm-up, players performed exercises for ball control, being under pressure, then the team had tactical work, and ended with training on both sides in the middle of the field with the participation of three teams. With the exception of Maksym Malyshev, who is continuing his rehabilitation course, all performers are involved in the general group.

Zorya Luhansk squad passed another test for coronavirus. Before that, the team had already done this, and the result was negative, but after a full resumption of the training process, it was decided to take another test to comply with all standards. The result is again the same for all - negative.

Dynamo Kyiv first team since May 12, when the country's quarantine conditions were eased, has been working at the club base in Koncha Zaspa. All footballers have been training in a good mood for a week now, preparing for the long-awaited resumption of the season. On Friday, May 22, Dynamo will play a friendly match with the First League leader Rukh. Due to the current restrictions in the country, the match will take place without spectators.

Desna Chernihiv passed testing on COVID-19 and after receiving the results (all healthy) decided to start light training. The team has already gathered at the base near Haharin stadum and entered the training regime in compliance with all necessary security measures under the control of the medical staff.

Oleksandriya also received the results of PCR tests on COVID-19, which were passed by players, and began training. The team is divided into two groups of 12 players, and the groups are divided into subgroups of six people. Trainings take place on the fields of the club's infrastructure in groups of six on separate sections of the field.

Kolos Kovalivka players, having passed tests on COVID-19, began training in groups. The same way SC Dnipro-1 holds its training process.

After passing the PCR tests and receiving negative results, Mariupol started training sessions on Monday. The team trains in accordance with medical and epidemiological requirements. As the training base complex is still "quarantined", the players arrive on the field on their own, ready for training. There they are met by the medical headquarters - without temperature screening and the presence of a mask, entry into the field is prohibited. The team trains in three groups of eight people, using two training fields. Currently, head coach Oleksandr Babych focuses on physical fitness, but the coaching staff does not forget about the theory. The team will work in this rhythm until the end of the week.

PFC Lviv players and coaching staff passed the mandatory test for coronavirus infection. According to the test results, everyone is healthy. After receiving the results, the players began full-fledged training in compliance with the UAF requirements.

Vorskla started active training (jumping over barriers, jerk exercises and driving two or even three balls between plastic racks). In particular, the captain of Poltava club Volodymyr Chesnakov, who signed a new agreement under the "1 + 1" scheme, is working with pleasure. It is currently agreed that on May 22, Vorskla will play a friendly match with Volodymyr Sharan's team in Oleksandriya.

Olimpik Donetsk trains twice a day. The main emphasis of the morning sessions of the coaching staff is on tactical changes in the defense, in the evening the counterattacking game is practiced.
