Defender of Belgium's Brugge and the national team of Ukraine Eduard Sobol is sure that the matches in the League of Nations against Germany, Spain and Switzerland will be interesting.

The decision to end the Belgian championship brought Brugge gold medals. Together with his teammates, the defender also won the championship title Eduard Sobol, who answered questions from the official website of the UAF.

- Edward, congratulations from win the championship!

- Thanks. I was very happy to help my team last season. I have played in many Brugge matches and I am happy to be a part of this great victory. I think Brugge deservedly became the best in Belgium.

- We still have to wait for a decision on when the start of the next championship will be scheduled. Then the mentor will determine the time when the team should gather.

- What are your personal plans?

- Bruges wants to continue working with me. The club plans to buy my contract from Shakhtar. Negotiations with the miners I belong to are now in the final stages.

- Is this your wish too?

- So. In "Bruges" everything suits me. I want to play here, to progress. When I moved here, I set a goal to gain a foothold here, and when the club became interested in my services, it only added energy to my work.

- Euro 2020 had to be postponed…

- This was predicted after it became known with what force the coronavirus is spreading around the world. People's health is above all. I believe that in time everything will work out and the competition will return to its usual rhythm.

- Will the national team of Ukraine become stronger by 2021?

- It is difficult to say, but at least another year of work is ahead, during which there will be an opportunity to prepare even better. Despite the fact that we took first place in our selection group, we still have something to work on.

- Everyone is looking forward to the meetings of the national team of Ukraine with the teams of Germany, Spain and Switzerland in the League of Nations ...

- Yes, the national team of Ukraine will face extremely difficult matches. But we are pleased to be in the cohort of the best teams in Europe. Matches against Germany, Spain and Switzerland, I'm sure, will be interesting. We deserved to be in the elite with our game and result. I am sure that in the future the national team of Ukraine will please its fans with great victories. At least the potential for this in our team is huge.
