UEFA has approved new dates for the matches of the women's national team of Ukraine in the Euro qualifiers
On May 26, UEFA completed the procedure for updating the dates of matches in all groups of the European Championship selection among women's national teams.
It will be recalled that on April 23, the UEFA Executive Committee decided on postponement of the final part of the European Championship among the national women's national teams. Thus, Euro 2021 in England will be held from 6 to 31 July 2022.
The change of the dates of the tournament is connected with the postponement of the European Men's Championship and the Olympics due to the coronavirus pandemic from 2020 to 2021. Currently, the tournament dates will not match.
The Ukrainian national team is to play five more matches this year. The selection cycle for her will continue in September. On the 18th, our girls will play an away match against the Montenegrin team, and on the 22nd they will host the Greek national team. In October, the Ukrainian national team is also expected to play two matches - home against Ireland (23rd) and away against Greece (27th). The group stage of the selection of the European Championship will be completed by the blue-and-yellow team with a meeting at home against the Montenegrins (December 1).
