Circular № 19 IFAB on the Temporary Amendment to Rule № 3 to be used during UPL matches

On May 26, at a meeting of the UAF Executive Committee using communications, a decision was made on renewal of the football season in Ukraine.

The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association has decided to approve the application of IFAB circular № 19 dated 08.05.2020 in the competitions of the UPL and the Cup of Ukraine in the part "Temporary changes to Rule № 3 of the Rules of the game of football" regarding temporary changes in the procedure of player substitutions.

The amendments, in particular, provide for a maximum number of five substitutions for each team during the match. However, to avoid delays during the game, each team will be able to stop the match for a substitution only three times, as well as do so in between halves. If both teams make substitutions at the same time, this will be considered one of the three options for each team.
