Premier League. Thanks to successful substitutions, Dynamo got a strong-willed victory over Zorya and rose to second place

Three matches of the 26th round of the Premier League were played on Saturday. The matches were held without spectators, with observance of the relevant ones recommendations and protocol.

The central game of the tour, which took place in Zaporozhye, lived up to expectations. The confrontation between the main contenders for silver and a ticket to the Champions League turned out to be uncompromising and took place according to an exciting scenario.  

In the first half, Zorya attacked more sharply, however, none of the teams managed to score. The break in the match instead of the traditional 15 minutes lasted almost 45 due to the downpour. When the drainage system of Slavutych-Arena coped with the extreme amount of precipitation, the referee Mykola Balakin decided to start the second half. It seemed that the Luhansk team adapted to the difficult lawn faster, opening the scoring from the penalty spot. Shabanov broke the rules against Tymchyk, and Yurchenko executed 11 meters perfectly.

Five minutes later, the same Yurchenko, punching from the game, hit the crossbar, and then Alexei Mykhailychenko made a move, which, as it turned out, became key in the match. In the 61st minute, three new Dynamo players appeared on the field - Verbych, Tsygankov and De Pena. It was they who changed the course of the meeting.

First, Tsygankov won the fight and threw the ball to Verbych, who gave a goal pass to Buyalsky. Then De Pena scored from Shepelev's pass. Finally, Tsygankov set the final score, scoring a direct free kick.

The episode at the end of the game, when Sidorchuk was injured, who was dangerously attacked by Tsvek (the Croat was removed by the referee after watching the video replay with VAR), slightly upset Dynamo's mood. However, the white and blues won an important victory and climbed to the second step of the table, interrupting their three-match winless streak in meetings with Zorya. In their composition, the players of the national team of Ukraine came on the field: Shabanov, Mykolenko, Sydorchuk (replaced in the 84th minute), Buyalsky (goal, replaced in the 90th minute), Shepelev (goal pass), Tsygankov (came on as a substitute for 61- and minutes, goal).

Two matches were played in the tournament of teams competing for the 7th-12th places. Mariupol's game with Vorskla was also considered a rehearsal semifinal cup confrontation between these clubs, which will take place on June 24. In the championship, rivals did not find a winner. In Mariupol, both coaches also made successful substitutions. Yuri Maksimov's joker Yakubu, who appeared on the field after the break, opened the scoring in the 59th minute. The ball in the 74th minute was scored by Topalov, who came on as a substitute a quarter of an hour earlier. In overtime, Perduta thwarted a dangerous attack by the Azovs at the cost of a red card.

In another match, Olimpik beat Lviv and broke its 10-match winless streak.
