UEFA Executive Committee postpones UEFA Super Cup 2020 from Porto to Budapest

The UEFA Executive Committee has approved the venues for the UEFA Super Cup until 2023 inclusive.

The UEFA Executive Committee took place on 17 June, following which a number of important decisions were taken. In particular, the UEFA 2020 Super Cup, which was originally planned to be held in Porto, has been moved to Budapest.

The match will take place on September 24 this year at the Pushkash Arena (21.00 SET). The next matches for the UEFA Super Cup will be held in accordance with previously adopted decisions in Belfast (2021), Helsinki (2022) and Kazan (2023).

Shakhtar Donetsk, which continues to play in the Europa League, can also take part in this year's match for the UEFA Super Cup, which is played by the current winners of two European Cups. In the first match of the 1/8 finals in Germany, the wards of Luis Castro defeated "Wolfsburg" with a score of 2: 1. The return match will take place on August 5-6. The venue of the match will be announced later.
