Tomorrow, June 24, in accordance with the decision of the UAF Executive Committee, which approved the decision of the PFL Conference, the tournament is resumed у the first league of the championship of Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the top three teams will move to the Premier League based on the results of the 2019/2020 season in the presence of the relevant certificate. The last club of the elite division will play in the first league next season.
Clubs that took the first and second places in groups "A" and "B" of the second league based on the results of the two rounds of the championship ("Niva" T, "Polissya", "VPK-Agro" and "Crystal"), with the appropriate certificate will move to the first league. The 15th and 16th places in the first league standings will play playoff matches with the third-placed teams in groups A and B of the second league (Veres and Alliance) . The host of the field in the first meeting will be determined by drawing lots. The playoff stage will consist of two matches, one on the field of each of the participating teams.
In general, all the matches of the 20th round are of considerable interest. After all, a sharp struggle is expected not only for tickets to the elite division (at least six clubs do not hide their ambitious plans), but also among outsiders.
Even the seemingly significant lag of Cherkasy region should not be misleading. During the preparatory period, the new team leader Denis Marynchuk worked well in the transfer market, there was no shortage of his wards and playing practice. By the way, Cherkasy region also held several sparring matches with representatives of the Premier League, as such confrontations help to identify vulnerabilities faster.
Cherkasy region's neighbor in the standings, Zaporizhzhya Metallurg, before leaving for the match of the 20th round in Kharkiv, strengthened its ranks with an experienced left defender Vladislav Kravchenko, who previously played for Slobozhan.
But the semifinalist of the Cup of Ukraine, "Minay", having covered almost 1200 km by bus from Uzhgorod to Kremenchuk, will hold a pre-match training tonight, and tomorrow will try to take advantage of the unplayed "Flint", which has significantly updated its lineup.
