Premier League. Shakhtar draw with Zorya as champions and receive gold medals from UAF President Andriy Pavelko

Another, 13th in a row, title of Ukrainian champion Shakhtar ahead of schedule issued in the last round. Therefore, in today's meeting with Zorya at the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv, the miners could solve other tasks.

Thanks to modern telecommunication technologies, Shakhtar fans have been able to be virtually present at the stadium. In the stands, the organizers placed a huge screen, which displayed images from the devices of spectators who watched the game online and could personally congratulate their favorites with the championship title.

Both teams came to the match in a somewhat unusual lineup. Shakhtar was able to carry out a planned rotation painlessly, while Zorya faced significant personnel problems due to injuries and disqualifications. In particular, Viktor Skrypnyk's team lost both main central defenders and two goalkeepers, so the third goalkeeper Vasyl acted in the goal, and Tymchyk retrained as a center back.

"Zorya" looked decent in the meeting with the champion. Luhansk residents tried to act in their own style, in an aggressive manner, and created several moments. The Pitmen were close to success several times during the match, in particular, Alan Patrick scored in the crossbar. But there were no goals in the match.

After the game, a solemn ceremony of awarding the team of FC Shakhtar, the champion of Ukraine for the 2019/2020 season, took place. The gold medals were presented to the players and coaches of the Pitmen by the President of the Ukrainian Football Association, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko and the Executive Director of the UPL Yevhen Dyky.

Finally, after the break caused by the quarantine, Lviv's Karpaty played, participating in the tournament of teams competing for 7-12 places. The green-and-white derby with fellow countrymen from Lviv took place in Lutsk at Avangard, the reserve stadium of Karpaty. The "Citizens" played the first game under the leadership of Georgy Tsedadze, who replaced the head coach Egishe Melikyan. Nominal guests opened the scoring, but Karpaty managed to win back, despite the fact that they played in the minority throughout the second half due to the removal of Khakhlov.
