First League. Draws of competitors - in favor of "Metalist 1925" and "Volyn"

In the 21st round of the first league championship of Ukraine there were several matches at once, in which the teams claiming promotion in the class came together.

First of all, it is a match between "Minay" and "Ingulets". Transcarpathians after a sensational defeat last week in Kremenchug were eager to rehabilitate in front of their fans and stop one of the competitors. And Vasyl Kobin's wards should only complain about themselves that they have lost such a desirable victory.

The citizens opened the scoring in the 39th minute, when after a multi-pass combination, their best scorer Anatoliy Nuriev scored. The hosts continued to attack sharply and in the first half could remove from the agenda the question of the winner, but Bohdan Orynchak and Andriy Tkachuk made a mistake at close range.

After the break, the passers-by continued to dominate and only the crossbar saved the visitors from the second missed ball after a shot by Peter Stasiuk. In the 55th minute, the situation of "Ingulets" became even more complicated after the removal of defender Andriy Semenko, and the hosts continued to squander the goal moments when Oleksiy Shpak and Vasyl Pinyashko were wrong. The penalty came in the 73rd minute: after a flank pass by Oleksandr Kozak, Oleksandr Mishurenko skillfully played ahead, leveling the score at 1: 1.

When the participants of the match in Minai, which started late due to bad weather, were just leaving the field, they already knew the result of the match in Mykolayiv, where the townspeople gave a fight to the leader - Lviv's Rukh. The hosts were the first to get used to the hot weather, who reached their goal in the 36th minute, when rookie Vadym Yavorsky scored after a solo pass. The Galicians equalized immediately after the break, when Rostislav Rusin finished the well-played combination with an accurate shot. He was able to make a double in stoppage time, but made a mistake at close range. As Nikolaev didn't realize the scoring moments, nobody's result should be recognized fair.

"I am grateful to the guys for adhering to the game discipline," said the home team's head coach Ilya Blyzniuk after the final whistle. - We studied the opponent well and decided not to take risks, entrusting a place on the field to experienced performers. They put up a decent resistance and it was a pity that they missed after a senseless mistake at their goal. The players of Kharkiv's Metalist 1925, who predictedly defeated the outsider, Cherkasy region, and immediately topped the standings, immediately took advantage of the loss of Rukh, Ingulets and Minaya points. Brazilian legionnaire Freitas Ribeiro scored two goals for Slobozhan.

Two more teams from the leading group, Volyn and Obolon-Brovar, clarified relations in Lutsk. As the head coach of Luhansk Andriy Tlumak and his assistant Andriy Sapuga are in hospital, the actions of the hosts today were led by Ruslan Mostovy, who heads Volyn U-19. Opponents failed to field troops, and both had personnel problems with the attackers. Injured scorer Stanislav Kulish couldn't help Luhansk, and Oleksandr Batalskyi couldn't help Kyiv.

The Brewers had no choice but to add momentum sharply after the break to seize the initiative. Volyn's defense, led by veteran Taras Mykhalyk, had to make considerable efforts to keep the winning score. 1: 0, and "Volyn" caught up with "Metalist 1925" with "Ingults".
