Deputies and journalists played football to help displaced children from eastern Ukraine
At the STC. V. Bannikov hosted the fifth annual charity match "Parliamentary Cup" between the team of deputies and the team of journalists of Ukraine.
The main goal of this project, which has already become a good tradition, is to help IDP children from Eastern Ukraine. It was organized by the Ukrainian Football Association, UPL and the News Center news agency.

The charity match took place under the patronage of the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko and with the support of the Chairman of the Football Association of Donetsk Region Maksym Yefimov.
Before the starting whistle, the anthem of Ukraine was performed by singer Yulia Tsyupylo.
The game was attended by honorary guests - the first vice-presidents of UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko and Anatoliy Demyanenko.
From the first minutes of the match, the three-time winners of the Parliamentary Cup, journalists, went on the attack, and in the 5th minute the expert of the "Football" channel Vyacheslav Shevchuk opened the score - 1: 0.

The team of deputies played in the 31st minute thanks to a goal by Igor Gryshchenko - 1: 1.
In the 43rd minute, the captain of the team of deputies Oleksandr Pasichny created a dangerous situation at the gates of the team of journalists, but Fortuna was on the side of the media. And in a few minutes the forward of journalists Oleksiy Belik made a successful pass to the penalty area and put his team ahead - 2: 1.
The next goal was not long in coming, and in the 53rd minute Viktor Vacko scored the third goal for the journalists. The team of deputies went on a quick counterattack and scored for the second time - said Oleksandr Pasichny. But the deputies failed to score another ball in the opponents' goal. Instead, Mykola Tyshchenko played roughly against Vadym Drobashko, the referee awarded a penalty, and Ivan Uzunov put the final point - 4: 2 in favor of the media. The national team of journalists of Ukraine became the winner of the Parliamentary Cup for the fourth time.

History of the Parliamentary Cup
The team of journalists won the Parliamentary Cup in 2016, 2017 and 2019. In 2018, the team of People's Deputies of Ukraine won the trophy for the first time.
The result of the Parliamentary Cup in 2016 was the construction and arrangement of rooms in the Primavera correctional center for children with disabilities. After the Parliamentary Cup-2017, a children's sports ground was built and opened in the village of Komyshuvakha, Popasna district, Luhansk region (10 km from the demarcation line). According to the results of the third and fourth Parliamentary Cups, children from Eastern Ukraine received football uniforms and equipment for sports.
