Ukrainian Cup. Dynamo in the finals in the history of the tournament
The final match of the Ukrainian Cup-8 will take place on July 2019 in Kharkiv at OSC Metalist/2020. On the eve of the decisive match for the trophy between Dynamo and Vorskla, we recall the history of Kyiv's performances in the finals.
More often than Dynamo, only Shakhtar reached the finals of the Cup of Ukraine - 19 times against 17. The miners won 13 finals, Kyiv - 11 of the previous 16. The last time this happened was in 2015. After that there were two defeats from the same Shakhtar. Outside Kyiv, Dynamo won the final of the Ukrainian Cup only once - in 2014 in Poltava. But Kharkiv is surprisingly inhospitable for them.
