The new season in world beach soccer will begin in August 2020

The world beach soccer season will start in Moldova with the Euroleague Promotional Final in Division B.

The leaders of the World Beach Soccer Organization held an online conference, following which the details of this year's competition calendar were published. About this reported the official website of BSWW.

The first tournament of the season will be the Euroleague Promo Final, which will take place on August 19-23 in Moldova. In it, the teams of Division B will fight for access to Division A. 

Then, on the sandy grounds of the Portuguese town of Figueira da Foz, the national teams of the elite division A will meet in the Euroleague Superfinal on September 1-6. Unlike previous years, there will be no previous qualifying rounds this season. Instead of eight teams, as usual, the 12 best European teams according to the BSWW rating will play in the Superfinal at once. The composition of the participants will be known later. 

The next competition of the season will be the Cup of European Beach Soccer Champions, which will take place in Nazare, Portugal from September 8 to 13. 

Representatives of BSWW also expressed hope that in November 2020 it will be possible to hold the draw of the Intercontinental Cup in Dubai.
