Shakhtar to play in Ukraine in return match of 1/8 finals of Europa League against Wolfsburg

The UEFA Executive Committee, of which UAF President Andriy Pavelko is a member, decided at its extraordinary meeting today that six return matches of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League 2019/2020 will take place on the fields of the nominal hosts. About this the UEFA official site reports.

Thus, Shakhtar Donetsk will play the return match of the round against German Wolfsburg in Ukraine on August 5-6. The game will take place in the absence of spectators.

It will be recalled that the first meeting of the rivals in Germany ended with the victory of the Ukrainian team with a score of 2: 1.

The draw for the 1/4 and 1/2 finals of the Europa League will take place tomorrow in Nyon and will start at 14.00 Kyiv time.
