Weekend for A-Team legionnaires: Plastun's goal and simultaneous defeats at the start

Last weekend turned out to be extremely unsuccessful for the vast majority of legionnaires of the Ukrainian national team, who played for their clubs and were invited by Andrii Shevchenko to join the national team in March this year.

The new Belgian championship started with three simultaneous defeats of the teams represented by the Ukrainians.

Eduard Sobol with his Brugge lost at home to Charleroi (0:1). KAA Gent Roman Yaremchuk, Roman Bezus and Ihor Plastun who scored the goal, lost away to Saint-Truiden (1:2), and Kortrijk Yevhen Makarenko at home was beaten by Eupen (1:3).

The last friendly match before the official start of the new season was held by Ferencvaros Ihor Kharatin, who received an invitation from Andriy Shevchenko to join the national team of Ukraine in March this year. Serhiy Rebrov's wards defeated the Austrian "Assault" (1:0).

Already on August 14, Fradi in the first round of the Hungarian championship will meet in away game with MTK.
