Ukrainian Super Cup-2020. Dynamo defeated Shakhtar and won the trophy for the ninth time

The first trophy of the new season was drawn at the Olimpiiskyi National Sports Complex in Kyiv. Dynamo beat Shakhtar and got ahead of the Pitmen in the number of victories in the Ukrainian Super Cup.

The intrigue of this year's confrontation between the two greats of Ukrainian football was added by the presence of Mircea Lucescu on the coaching staff of the white and blues. The long-term manager of the Donetsk team for the first time opposed his former club.

The match was preceded by a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of last season in the Premier League. The best scorer Junior Moraes received the prize from the hands of the co-chairman of the UAF Professional Football Committee Igor Belanov, the best goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov was awarded by the assistant head coach of the national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Shovkovsky, the best young player Vladyslav Supryaga was played by UPL director Yevhen Dykyi. Dynamo's starting lineup includes three players who returned from loan in the summer - Tymchyk, Rodriguez and Supryaga. Shakhtar's squad was more familiar, with only Tete's presence among the top 11 and Marlos' place among the reserve players attracting attention.

At the beginning of the match, which took place in rainy weather, the orange and blacks controlled the ball more confidently, however, the Dynamo team was the first to play the effective combination. De Pena launched a diagonal attack on Rodriguez and ended it with a header after a canopy from Sidorchuk. Then in the counterattack "Dynamo" successfully played Rodriguez, who threw Pyatov, who went far from the goal. But Shakhtar soon made the score shaky again - Moraes responded to Tete's flank pass to the near post. 1: 2.

Before the break, Tete still managed to break into the crossbar, in the second half, the Pitmen attacked even harder and forced Dynamo to sit very low in defense. The game took place mostly in the middle of the field of white and blue, but numerous attacks by the wards of Luis Castro did not achieve the goal. The coach of Donetsk released four fresh players of the attacking plan after the break, but it was not the Portuguese who replaced Mircea Lucescu. Andrievsky passed, and Sol scored the third goal for Dynamo.

Thus, in the 17th draw of the Super Cup of Ukraine, Dynamo registered its ninth victory and was ahead of its rival, which has eight titles left.
