Defender of the national team of Ukraine Serhiy Kryvtsov commented on the defeat of the blue and yellows in the League of Nations match against Spain and told about the conclusions that the team will make in the next matches in the group.

- It was difficult to resist such a strong team as the Spanish. I made a mistake. After the score became 1: 0 in favor of the hosts, it became difficult for us. In addition, we were not given a way out of the defense to attack. We could not show our level. Spain is Spain. We didn't manage to control the ball in the game with the Spaniards, although we were preparing.

- Did the goal conceded in the 90th second of the match make a heavy blow to Ukraine?

- Yes of course. To miss in the 2nd minute is a strong blow to the team. It was my mistake, then again ... It was difficult to get together later. It is an experience, but a bitter experience.

- Yes, there was a touch. But more of the opponent himself clung to my leg than I did him. However, formally the grounds for the 11-meter in the referee were. After a fight fists do not wave. In the locker room I told the coaches and partners that I had a touch of the Spaniard.

I'm not making excuses, but we spent almost the whole day before the match recovering when the national team boxes were delayed at the airport. As a result, we lost time, although this cannot justify our defeat.

- Will Ukraine in this group fight to stay in Division A?

- Yes, we will make every effort to do so, we have such a task. Our group is strong, this was shown by past fights. Now we need to draw conclusions to play better in the future. I think we showed a good game in the match against Switzerland. There was a decent picture. It didn't work out with Spain. But it's football.

- Will you correct your mistakes in the match against Germany?

- Yes, I think it will be a completely different game. We received information for analysis, and in terms of tactics, too. Unfortunately, my mistakes affected the outcome of the match.
