The UAF PROTASOV CUP-2020 Festival of Champions among children's teams took place in Kyiv

Competitions among players born in 2010 took place on the field of the training base of the Ukrainian Football Association.

All 10 participants of the Open Championship of the UAF Football Academy of the 2019/2020 season played three matches in the framework of the Festival of UAF Champions PROTASOV CUP-2020. The matches took place in a fierce struggle with the active support of the parents of young players and other spectators. Despite their young age, the players managed to entertain the audience with skillful play and beautiful goals.

KNUTD, Benfica, Peremozhets, Champion, Hoverla, Favoryt, Nika, Troyeshchyna, UAF and Kyiv took part in the competition. After the festival, the award ceremony of the participants of the UAF Champions Festival PROTASOV CUP-2020 took place, which was attended by the UAF first vice-president Vadym Kostyuchenko and the legendary football player, the UAF first vice-president Oleh Protasov.

"Dear players, coaches and parents! I would like to congratulate all of you on behalf of the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, as well as thank you for choosing football. I would like to thank you, children, for your parents who take care of you, do everything to make you play football. I would also like to thank the Vice-Champion of Europe, the owner of the Silver Boots, Oleg Protasov, for coming up with such an initiative, and today we held this wonderful festival. I want to wish each of you to achieve the same victories in your football life as Oleh Valeriiovych, ”said Vadym Kostyuchenko, First Vice President of the UAF.

In one of the seasons I managed to score 35 goals in the championship, which was the second result in Europe. For this I was awarded a wonderful prize - Silver Boot, which is why I am very happy. But at the same time I want to say that this is an individual award. They are in football, but they are not the most important. I want you to know that football is first and foremost a team game. The whole team helped me score 35 goals per season, aiming for one of the players to achieve an outstanding result. Without the support of partners and friends, I would not have achieved this.

Try to develop your own qualities, but do not forget that without a team you will not achieve anything. Therefore, the team and friendship should be put in the first place. No less important is schooling, which also do not forget. May all your dreams come true. Let everyone who wants to become a footballer become one, and someone may go the other way. I wish everyone good luck and thank you for participating in our tournament! ” - Oleh Protasov addressed the participants of the festival in a motivational style.
