Second League. Uzhhorod will decide on the task for the season after the first round
Bukovyna is a convenient opponent for Uzhhorod: last season Zakarpattia twice beat Chernivtsi in the second league of Ukraine, and most recently won in the second preliminary stage of the National Cup.
The match of the third round of the current championship was no exception. And although the Bukovyna footballers tried to break this streak of failures (once the Transcarpathians became an ally of the stable), the guests still celebrated the victory again. The winning goal at the end of the first half was scored by Viktor Ryashko, who, by the way, once defended the colors of "Bukovyna". The third victory in a row allowed Uzhhorod to lead the Group A standings.
"The club management has not yet set a task for the team for the season," said Uzhhorod head coach Volodymyr Vasyutyk in a comment to the official UAF website. - At the moment we have one priority: we bet on local football players. The rivalry took place on the opposite courses, but it almost didn't reach the goal moments. But in the 62nd minute Danilo Bozhenar's versatile of the hosts proved to be the most skilful in the visitors' penalty area and with a powerful shot under the crossbar brought his team the coveted three points.
