The conference also approved the new version of the PFL Charter. PFL football clubs must bring their statutes into line with its requirements within three months.

The decision of the PFL Conference on the agreement on the transfer of commercial rights from the UAF to the PFL for the seasons 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 will be submitted to the UAF Executive Committee for final approval.

"The Extraordinary PFL Conference unanimously elected a new president of the organization. I congratulate Oleksandr Kadenko with such high confidence from the clubs of the first and second leagues and I wish only success in carrying out qualitative changes and reforms for the development of the PFL! - said in his speech the President of the UAF, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko. - Last season became very difficult both for the Professional Football League and for all Ukrainian football due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was a serious risk that the championship would not be completed on a sporting basis, as has happened in some other European countries. But the timely consolidation of UAF and PFL efforts helped save the season, and the competition was completed not in the offices, but on the football field, as it should be.

And now PFL clubs, as well as in UPL, already have an opportunity to hold matches with fans where the epidemiological situation allows it. Ukrainian football is being revived, and I wish all the clubs of the first and second leagues a successful season, new victories and achievements! ”
