Today Shakhtar and Dynamo get to know their rivals in the group round of the Champions League
Today, October 1, at 18.00 pm Kyiv time, the draw for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League will start in Nyon, which will be attended by the champion and vice-champion of Ukraine last season - Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv.
It will be recalled that Shakhtar got directly into the main draw of the Champions League, while Dynamo beat Dutch AZ (2: 0) and Belgian Gent (2: 1, 3: 0).
According to individual odds, 24 of the 32 participants in the Champions League formed three baskets - from second to fourth. But the champions of the first six associations in the UEFA odds table, as well as the winner of the Champions League (Bayern) and the winner of the Europa League (Sevilla) were among the first. Due to the fact that "Bavaria" is also the champion of Germany, the place in the top basket went to the seventh country in the ranking - Portugal ("Porto").
According to the regulations, the representatives of one association, even if they fall into different baskets, will be separated from each other. In addition, according to UEFA, Shakhtar and Dynamo will not be in the same group as Russia.
