The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko spoke to the media at a press conference after friendly match with the French team.

- Tsygankov became the best in the national team of Ukraine today after coming on as a substitute. What does he need to become a key player in the team?

- The main thing is that Victor is getting in shape, and it makes us happy. We have a lot of problematic positions now, and we don't understand who we will be able to call up for the next matches. The situation is very difficult at the moment, but we need to get out of it somehow. We called the youth star players. We have two important matches ahead of us, with Germany and Spain. Shakhtar players will be tested tomorrow, after which it will become clear who we will be able to call from this team.

- The result today is negative, but we saw in the actions of new players - it's positive. What other moments can you mention?

- In this situation, I can say that the players took the match as seriously as possible. Those who came on the field tried to play. It is currently impossible to compare our two teams, but some segments in our performance were good - in particular, the beginning of the second half. France is a world champion, unfortunately, we could not bring our best team to somehow try to compete with it.

- During the match, your team had moments to make the score more acceptable…

- This is football, the game consists of episodes. Yes, there were a few moments when we could improve the score for ourselves, it would be interesting for the spectators to see a few more goals.

- Serhiy Sydorchuk is one of the leaders of Dynamo. What does he lack to play for the national team?

- Today, determining the lineup, I proceeded from the fact that we have two official matches ahead. Sydorchuk and Karavaev have played many official games recently. We need to plan who we will put on the matches with Germany and Spain, and at the moment we don't even know who we can use. So far, we are working with the available team - 18 field players and one goalkeeper. Those we call will take tests.
