News from the camp of the national team of Ukraine: return to Kyiv, training and waiting for Marlos and Kovalenko

The blue and yellows arrived in Kyiv from Paris today at about 15.30 pm and immediately went to the capital's Opera Hotel. There, goalkeeper Mykita Shevchenko was already waiting for the team, whom the coaching staff called to the national team the day before.

In the evening, Nikita spent his first training session with the national team after a three-year break, which took place on the field of NTK named after Bannikov. Meanwhile, Georgy Bushchan watched the actions of his partners from the side: he had the opportunity to rest after yesterday's match, full of unpleasant events for the goalkeeper.

All 19 field players present in the national team's camp took part in the evening training. The first part of the lesson was joint, and then the team split. Players who spent one or more halves on the field yesterday were given the opportunity to hit the goal or play a square.

Meanwhile, physical training coach Andrea Azzalin dealt with the six with Oleksandr Karavayev, Serhiy Sydorchuk, Ihor Plastun, Eduard Sobol, Volodymyr Shepelev and Roman Bezus. These guys needed more physical activity, because they either did not participate in yesterday's match, or played in it for about 30 minutes. Therefore, their functional state had to be brought into line with the physical condition of the other players.

Tomorrow, three Shakhtar Donetsk players will arrive at the Ukrainian national team camp - Viktor Kovalenko, Romero Marlos, as well as center-back Valery Bondar, who was called up by the coaching staff today. At the same time, Mykola Matvienko and Junior Moraes, whose PCR tests showed positive results today, will not be able to help the national team in the games with Germany and Spain.

Thus, the number of players who due to injury or coronavirus were unable to partially or fully participate in the October training camp is 14 people, of whom 19 are infected with COVID-6.

Tomorrow, the national team will have official pre-match events - a press conference of the head coach and player and training at the NSC "Olympic".
