Officially. SCC UAF upheld the result of the Ukrainian Cup match between Girnyk-Sport and Dnipro-1

The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association considered the appeal of FC Girnyk-Sport, in which the club challenged the result of the match of the third round (1/16 finals) of the Cup of Ukraine 2020/2021 against SC Dnipro-1 ((3: 5 in extra time). 

In the appeal, the club from Horishni Plavny referred to the incorrect use of "Dnipro-1" opportunities for substitutions in extra time: the visiting team made two substitutions in extra time, using two opportunities (one of which was not used in regular time).

SCC UAF did not find violations in the actions of the coaching staff of IC "Dnipro-1", as previously the Executive Committee of UAF a decision was made about application Circular 19 IFAB during all UPL, PFL and Ukrainian Cup competitions for the period of its validity. The peculiarities of the use of substitutions and opportunities for substitutions in the main and extra time of the match should not be reflected in the Regulations of the Cup of Ukraine, as they are prescribed in the relevant article of the Rules of the Game (taking into account IFAB Circular 19). Substitutions made by Dnipro-1 in the match against FC Girnyk-Sport complied with the current Rules of the Game.

The result of the match between Girnyk-Sport and Dnipro-1 is upheld.
