Euro-2022 among women: the start time of the match of the national team of Ukraine against the team of Ireland has been changed

The Euro-2022 qualification match between the women's national teams of Ukraine and Ireland will take place at Obolon Arena. As reported the Ukrainian Association of Women's Football reports., the start time of the match has been changed to 19.00.

We will remind, it was made public earlier list of 22 players of the national women's national team of Ukraine, which the head coach Natalia Zinchenko called for training and participation in the qualifying matches of Euro-2022.

During the upcoming training camp, the blue and yellows will play a home match against Ireland (October 23, Kyiv) and away match against Greece (October 27, Athens). The collection will start on October 19 in Kyiv.

Goalkeepers: Iryna Sanina (Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv), Kateryna Samson, Daryna Bondarchuk (both Zhytlobud-2 Kharkiv).

Defenders: Daria Kravets (Reims, France), Olga Basanska (Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv), Iryna Podolska, Kateryna Korsun, Anastasia Filenko, Natia Pantsulaya (all - Zhytlobud-2 Kharkiv), Lyubov Shmatko (Minsk ", Belarus). 

Midfielders: Olga Ovdiychuk, Daria Apanashchenko, Anna Petryk (all - Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv), Tamila Khimich (Minsk, Belarus), Iya Andrushchak, Yana Malakhova, Yana Kalinina, Veronika Andrukhiv, Tetyana Tril-Polyukhovych (all - "Zhitlobud-2" Kharkiv).

Group I standings

Matches remaining in the Euro-2022 qualification in Group I.

Of the 47 teams participating in the Euro qualifiers, 15 will reach the decisive stage. Nine winners of the selected groups and the top three second teams will join England as the host of the European Championship. Six more second-placed teams in their groups will play in the last three matches in playoffs. These matches will take place on April 5-13, 2021.

It will be recalled that on April 23, the UEFA Executive Committee decided on postponement of the final part of the European Championship among the national women's national teams. Thus, the Euro in England will be held from 6 to 31 July 2022.

The change of the dates of the tournament is connected with the postponement of the European Men's Championship and the Olympics due to the coronavirus pandemic from 2020 to 2021. Due to this, the dates of the tournaments will not coincide.
