Profile of the national team of Ukraine: eight victories over world and European champions

Kyiv victory in the fourth round of the group round of the League of Nations 2020/2021 over Spain (1:0) became the eighth victory for the national team of Ukraine over the teams that in their history won either the World Cup or the European Championship.

Interestingly, the blue and yellows won seven victories at home and only one, over Greece, on the road. It is also worth noting that in these matches, the Ukrainians missed only twice - with 12 goals in the opponents' goal.  

We will add that the Portuguese national team won the European Championship in 2016. The Greek team became stronger on the continent in 2004, the Danes won the Euro in 1992, the England team triumphed at the 1966 World Cup, the French team has won the Euro-1984 and Euro-2000 and the 1998 World Cups. 2018.
