Second League. Podillya defeated Niva away and topped Group A table
Due to heavy rain, the start of the central match in Group A in Demidov, where Dinaz hosted Karpaty from Halych, was postponed for an hour.
When the referee's starting whistle sounded, the opponents, despite the difficult weather conditions, showed good preparation. The main events unfolded in the second half - before the break the team exchanged goals. After the hosts in the person of Oleksiy Bryzhenko and Vadym Bovtruk brought the score to 3: 1, it seemed that victory was already in their pocket. However, the guests took a different view. In the 82nd minute, Oleg Matushevsky reduced the gap to a minimum, and Prykarpattia had three more chances to escape defeat, but Dinaz goalkeeper Oleksiy Krupnychenko was on top.
It is impossible to celebrate the home victory of "Bukovina". It seemed that in the match against Chernihiv, the hosts will finally achieve their goal, because after the outbreak in the coronavirus team, the guests did not arrive in the lineup: suffice it to say that midfielder Anatoliy Romanchenko had to defend the goal. Therefore, the Bukovynians should only complain that they lost precious points, because if only their striker Vasyl Palahniuk realized all the goal moments, he would make a strong bid for the title of the best scorer. In the end, we should also pay tribute to the Chernihiv team, which showed a stubborn nature and, remaining in the minority, managed to unite and equalize the score. 2: 2.
And headed the standings in group "A" "Podillya", which thanks to the double of Fadi Salbak snatched the victory from the neighbors from Vinnytsia - 2: 1. Especially impressive was the legionnaire's second goal, which he scored with a shot through himself.
In Group B, Oleksandr Mishurenko, who started the season at Ingulka but left the team from Petrovo due to family circumstances, celebrated his debut in Kryvbas. However, the most dramatic events unfolded in the match between "Tavria Simferopol" and "Cherkasy", which were located in the leading group. In the second half, the guests seized the initiative, leveled the situation and three more times created dangerous situations in the home team's penalty area. But in the sixth compensated minute, a penalty kick was awarded to Cherkasy Region by Vadym Hryppa. 2: 1.
"Of course, it is sad to lose such matches," said the head coach of the guests Anatoliy Bezsmertny in a comment to the official website of the UAF. "As for the desire and self-sacrifice of claims to the wards, I have nothing to do with the realization of goal moments, the guys still lack performance skills."
